ABOUT
L.A. Bliss brings a sound like no other that exudes raw emotions and modern pleasures to meld relatable music for any listener. A true factotum, Lisa Chambliss is the pop singer-songwriter who records as L.A. Bliss. Growing up being called L.A. (Lisa Anne) by her father and with Bliss being a play on Chambliss, this alter-ego is Lisa’s way of expressing herself the best way she knows how; through music.
L.A. Bliss’ journey started in Florida where she grew up, and has taken her on a path through Georgia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Nevada, and now, California. She has lived many lives, worked a myriad of jobs, and struggled the whole time until now, where she’s finally able to release the songs that are the soundtrack to underscore it all. L.A. Bliss released her first demo in 2001 and has been making music that tells her truths ever since. Most of her journey has been alone, so she is no stranger to heartbreak. Striving to make relatable music for as long as she can remember, L.A. Bliss finds that with each of her life experiences, come new songs. She’s been singing since she was four years old; always being involved in choir, acapella singing groups, and anything that allowed her to express her emotions through music. While L.A. Bliss’ music is immediate and glamorous, it comes with dangerous undercurrents, just like the life experiences she draws inspiration from. Her music represents the thrill of going too fast, the pain of being loved more by a stranger than anyone who really knows you, or the danger of believing too fully. Influenced by the icons of the ’80s, the first album she ever bought was Cyndi Lauper. L.A. Bliss draws inspiration from the likes of Madonna, Pat Benatar, and Belinda Carlisle to name a few. Combining the performance elements and energy of these icons with the sounds, and lyricism of Nine Inch Nails, L.A. Bliss seeks to create music that pulls at your soul. Sharing music that tells the story of her own journey, L.A. Bliss is proud to be someone who has lived many lives within one. Using her music as a tool to tell her story in an intentional way. With music that seeks to inspire, take risks, and heal others, L.A. Bliss is seeking out to let her listeners know they aren’t alone. Her music strives to help anyone who listens leave with an open heart and eagerness for what’s ahead. |

Stranger Love
Take "Stranger Love," her latest single, and the title track to the project of the same name. With its rapid-fire chorus, its thunderous beat, its instantly memorable melody, and its honeyed support vocals, the track feels like a sonic manifestation of California sunshine. But it's also a statement of autonomy and self-affirmation from a singer finding her way in the world and taking control of her life, as she learns to stop attracting the unhealthy relationships that feel familiar, and learns to attract healthier people. It's not always easy, but putting your own worth first means finding the people who truly value you.
